I was listening to many different sports hosts on this play and the discussion on “luck” was interesting to me.  Is there such a thing as “luck”?  Is it just “lucky” that something like this happens for the win?  Certainly all sports wins can’t just be “lucky”.  In a football game there are hundreds of plays and any number of those plays could alter the course of the entire game.  I often hear people say when their team loses, “The other team just got “lucky”.  Really?  Can the whole game be brought down to just that?  And then I see a video like the one above and I think, “You gotta be kidding me.  What are the sheer odds of that happening?  How in the world can that happen especially when a football often doesn’t bounce “true” off of an object?”  Maybe there are times when we are just in the right place at the right time and we need to make the most of the opportunity that presents itself to us.
